Visa and Travel Information
Visitors with a valid passport may obtain a visa at any Jordanian embassy, consulate, or legation abroad. Embassies are spread all over the world to ease acquiring any necessary information before travelling to ensure that you have all the necessary paperwork for travel. A visa can also be obtained upon arrival at Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport; payment must be in local currency (money can be changed at the bank next to the visa office in the Arrivals Hall).
The conference organizing company offers to facilitate your visit to Jordan by providing you with entry visa if required. Please visit www.visitjordan.com to check if your country requires a pre-issued visa to enter Jordan. You can submit your visa request at www.visitjordan.com.
If you needed a visa before your arrival, please send a copy of your passport to Arab Organizers email@example.com / firstname.lastname@example.org or Fax: +962 551 00 90. The subject of the email should be TEPHINET Conference_Visa Application
Note: It is important that you make this request by COB on October 15th. Any incomplete requests (i.e. without having copies of passport) will not be processed after the deadline.
This visa process takes an average of 3 weeks and this may vary by country. We encourage you to apply and begin the visa process as soon as possible, noting that the last week of October is a holiday in Jordan and that all government institutions will be closed.
